Traveling to destination Tobago can be a simple one. Please see the suggested step by step guide below.  
 

1. Search for flights via Google flights, Expedia or a booking site of your choice.

2. Make sure to select "round trip". your destination should be (POS - Piarco international) Port of Spain, Trinidad.

3. after purchasing your ticket to Trinidad (POS), you'd need to book a separate flight from Trinidad to Tobago (Arthur N.R Robinson Int'l) via the inter-island Air carrier, Caribbean Airlines. (caribbean-airlines.com) (From: POS - To: TAB).
 

P.S. Please allow at least 2.5 to 3 hours lapse time between your expected arrival to Trinidad and your departure flight time to Tobago.

For your return trip to the US, it's suggested that your arrival time to Trinidad should be at least 3.5 to 4 hours before the time of your flight departure back to the U.S.
